For several years now, Scott and I have been talking about taking a Mediterranean cruise. On August 7, 2009, our dream was realized when we boarded the SilverSeas Silver Wind in Civitavecchia, Italy.We flew direct from Salt Lake City to Paris and then connected to Rome on Alitalia. We stayed one night at the Rome Cavelieri Waldorf Astoria and we were able to visit the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Cesear's Forum, and the Colosseum. We definitely plan to go back to Rome to visit the various other sites, including the Vatican.

Sorrento, Italy
Corfu, Greece
Montenegro
Split, Croatia
And two nights in Venice!
